- Advisors to a large international banking group in implementing an action plan directed to meet key regulatory capital market thresholds.
- Organized and streamlined the corporate structure and contracts for a U.S. based financial group.
- Responsible party in the delivery of risk assessments for regulated and non-regulated businesses.
- Extensive experience in fund recovery processes with broker-dealers and banking institutions.
- Assessments on the international tax implications resulting from applying treaties to avoid double taxation on cross-border business transactions.
- Responsible for conducting the AML/BSA risk assessments for regulated non bank financial entities.
- Coordinated the structuring and launching of two private placement facilities of up to four million dollars each under U.S. Regulation D for foreign and U.S. based affiliate companies.
- As a result of our mediation assistance, settlements have been obtained with a highly effective overall success rate with over one hundred cases handled per year.
- Business development advisors to a U.S. regulated money service business and an innovative tech startup business.
- Designed and developed a US$440,000 program sponsored by the largest development bank in Latin America to establish a secured credit regulatory framework in Trinidad & Tobago.
- Proposed alternative frameworks under the sponsorship of the largest development bank in Latin America for intellectual property-based financing for innovation and growth in Jamaica, which prompted sectoral discussions aimed at identifying eligible projects.
- Designed and developed a US$850,000 program sponsored by the largest development bank in Latin America to enhance private sector development improvements in members of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States, aimed at strengthening the institutional framework in those countries.
- Lead, with a U.S. global bank as trustee, the restructuring and closing of an approx. US$10 million family trust facility and two US$ 3.8 and 1.5 million secured financings.
